first step into rage
considering this is my first rant, i want it to be memorable. i will thank the university and the students in it who taught me how to hate someone without feeling guilty. i wasn't like this when i was in school. i don't let things bother me so much, i brush it off, or probably vent it out to my dad, and things will be alright. after coming to university, i started behaving differently or at least that's what people told me, everytime. surrounded by a bunch of kids who are labelled as adults by the society. they are hardly even out of middle school.
there are several boys who think they are "tuff", "sigma", and "alpha". for your kind attention, they are not. i am sure they grew up physically, but mentally? i cannot comment on that. there are several girls who sound pick me, and poor girls are the victims of the patriarchal society. they don't realise that they are unconsciously pleasing men. there exist pick me boys, too. i could write a separate essay on them.
unnecessary gossips and hatred all around me, consuming my energy ounce by ounce. i have a lot of opinions, i do not go and share it to everyone i speak, because i know who talks behind others and who don't.
i don't know if it is my curse or boon, i always get to know what's happening around me by my trusted sources.
i was already a misandrist, now these boys around me who are consumed by fragile male ego, sexist thoughts, misogyny, male chauvinism, make my blood boil.
when i stand up for fellow female students, they make fun of me for speaking feminism. living in a tough critique and ego-centered crowd teaches one thing, try not to care and keep functioning in your own ground.
